FILMING LOCATIONS


Quay 9 ¾ at King's Cross:
If you arrive by Eurostar you can make a small detour to take a photo with your luggage. On the platform where the students take the train to Hogwarts you will find a souvenir shop with all the accessories you need to take a good photo next to the trolley which disappears halfway up the wall.

London Zoo, home of reptiles:
The famous scene where Harry realises he can talk to snakes takes place at London Zoo in Regent's Park. You can also enjoy a walk around the Zoo which is ideal for a family activity.

Diagon Alley:
Located at the Leaden hall market, you have dreamed of walking down the street where all the witch shops are located and well the cauldron baveur shop is located at Bull's head passage.

Gringotts:
The Australian embassy, you can admire the facade or try to enter it with a good reason like a visa application for example, otherwise it will be difficult to admire its hall.

Headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix:
And also the house of Sirius Black located in Claremont square. You can choose to stay in an apartment of the same style to be immersed as much as possible in the environment of Harry Potter.

The Millennium Bridge:
The bridge that was destroyed by the mangoes is still there and you can cross it and have a beautiful view of the Tower Bridge and St. Paul's Cathedral over the Thames.

Dursley's House:
It is located at number 12 Picket Post Close in Martins Heron, Berkshire. You can get there from Waterloo station, once you arrive in Martins Heron the station is not far from the street.

WARNER BROS STUDIOS


A must for Harry Potter fans, these studios have been set up so that fans can visit all the film sets. The big room, Dumbledore's office, Hagrid's hut etc... You will also be able to see the many shops dedicated to the saga and taste a beer.

Price:
Tickets are £47 for an adult but you must book them well in advance of your trip as they are often sold out and you won't have much choice. Look around 2 or 3 months in advance to make sure you have places available during your holiday.

Directions:
From Euston station you will take a train for 20 minutes to Watford Junction where you will take a bus for 15 minutes to the Studio tour; the return bus journey will cost you £3.

You also have the choice to go directly by bus from the centre of London to the studios the price includes the tickets and the journey with golden tours or just the journey if you have already bought your tickets.

Between 1 to 3 hours of Harry Potter themed tours are available, depending on your language and desire.

The price is around £10 per meeting point depending on the guides, you will be able to hear a professional on the subject explain the little secrets hidden behind the filming locations. You will visit some of the places mentioned above such as Pier 9 ¾ and the Millennium Bridge.
