Our English language courses are designed to help you rapidly improve your English
and provide a solid base for further improvement. We do this by focusing on key
areas of difficult in English and by providing as much practice as possible.
What type of English lessons are proposed?
We offer 'General English' lessons. These include 2 main types of lesson
activity:
• Grammar: We cover the main 'problem'
areas in English, where students typically have difficulties. These include: •
Present, past, present perfect and future tenses • Continuous tense forms
• Auxiliary and modal verbs
• Questions forms and negative sentences
• Sentence structure
• Origins and general features of English • Vocabulary: phrasal verbs, uncountable nouns,
colloquial English, specialised vocabulary and more...
• Conversation/practice: Speaking, comprehension and
written practice. The lessons often involve debates, discussion, pair work (with other students), presentations and games.
How are lessons organised?
Our lesson programmes are organised into 'grammar' and 'practical/conversation'
lessons. Student participation is encouraged in all lessons.
